The study that we conducted was on a website that offers cosmetic surgery procedures. Our goal was to determine how people navigated through the website and what content they found relevant and important. In addition, we wanted to encourage people to fill out the contact forms in the website.
The first finding revealed that potential patients wanted to learn more about the different types of procedures, and they found the before and after pictures extremely helpful when it came to making a decision. So, we placed a form in the page that contained the before and after pictures with call to action text related to the pictures they were viewing.
High Traffic Pages lead to higher conversions
Another finding we uncovered was that people were very interested in the costs and financing options. So, we created two pages. Page one was the costs page, we explained that prices are constantly fluctuating and to please contact us for a quote and someone would get back to them within 24 hours. The second page is a financing page, we explained that payments and interest rates vary greatly among potential patients and their individual needs encouraging them to fill out a form and someone would get back to them within the next 24 hours. Our consumer behavior study and subsequent changes resulted in a 300% increase in form fills and phone calls.
